USC On Campus Housing

<p>Does USC guarantee dorm type housing for transfer students like UCLA does?</p>

<p>No, USC does not guarantee for transfer. They only guarantee for entering freshmans, thats it.</p>

<p>If you want to increase you chances for housing, I'm pretty sure you can apply now. You just have to eat the $40-$60 application fee if you don't get accepted into USC.</p>

<p>I keep hearing mixed reviews about living in the surrounding areas of USC/ Can you fill me in on this a bit about the vibe? Crime rate? etc., I've been told it's only safe if you live in the buildings directly ON campus near the administration, just in case. Kinda disconcerting...</p>
