Transfer Housing

what are you guys doing with regards to finding a place to live? have u found a place yet?

yeah whats the deal with this? i know that transfer housing is limited, but i was checking up on the housing website and parkside apartments had some spaces available. the housing application deadline's passed, but what if you were just admitted? student4u, what are your plans for housing? if i cant get housing at IRC or parkside apartments then i think i'd have to go for an off campus apartment.

They told us at orientation that there is an unusual amount of spaces for transfer housing this year. so its looking good.

glad to hear the good news, but can i still apply for this fall if i havnt done so already? also, how long did it take them to process your enrollment commitment form? i need that processed to register for the last transfer orientation, and the deadline's already passed. thanks domino.

prosmat, i still haven't begun to look for housing. i'm going to start on monday. I don't mind living off campus as long as it's within a block away from campus. to tell you the truth i'd much rather get a single and live by myself, but if comes down to $$$ and finding a place to live, i guess a roomie will have to do. what about you? whats ur situation? have u turned in your committment deposit? i'm going to take mine down on moday and turn it in and have a look around the campus while i'm at it.

nice sounds good. i'd much rather be living off campus, ive already had enough university experience and its time to live on my own after commuting from my house in rancho cucamonga to fullerton. i wanted to see if i could get my choice of housing just in case off campus doesnt work out. i have a friend who is transferring to ucla, and we figured a half way spot might not be too bad. we'd have to get down there to check it out. we're familiar with the west LA area, but we'd have to see how long of a commute it is from a middle spot apartment. if its 10 mins+ then i'll drop that idea and look for an apartment within a few blocks from the campus. as for the enrollment, yes i sent my enrollment in through the mail this friday, so they should be getting it this week. im jus hoping i'll still be able to register for orientation, if not then an orientation packet will have to do. have you received your advising and your transfer credit sheet, or are you waiting for orientation? have fun lookin around campus, its so beautiful.. take it easy.

I was assigned to century today
