Everyone out here (iced coast) thinks this is a nut question---everyone out there probably will too, for the opposite reason. I am in agony...I've got it down to these 2 and it is IMPOSSIBLE for me. Please, someone give me a tie-breaker.

I'd go to USC, that's where I'm going and I'm from NH. I didn't apply to Dartmouth though because I would hate to spend another four years here. Best of luck with your decision and try not to freeze to death.

IF you like Sunny weather go to cali, if not go to Dartmouth! Lol but um really, both are great schools, some will tell you that Dartmouth is way better academically, I personally think that at either school is great! I don't know much about Dartmouth, but I think a person attending USC has a balance between academics and social life (not saying that all, but mainly). It sounds as if you don't like the "iced coast" go to cali, you'll be happy with the weather!

What major/program are you looking at? If it's something strictly academic, Dartmouth would be hard to pass up. If it's something professional, come to sunny CA.

Dartmouth.

I made this exact same decision one year ago. As far as the balance between academics and social life, both Dart and SC have a good social scene. I chose to go to USC, but if I had been able to afford Dartmouth I would have gone there. I encourage you to go to Dartmouth, but that's just my opinions

I also think Dartmouth is better--I was deffered there early decision and ultimately rejected (I was really bummed). USC is an awesome school and everything (I'm going there next fall) but if given the option I would without any hesitation choose Dartmouth
