USC School of Cinematic Arts Adds New Chair in Editing

<p>USC's School of Cinematic Arts is celebrating the dedication of a new chair. Steven Spielberg has dedicated the new endowed chair to Michael Kahn, his friend and film collaborator for more than thirty years. It will be the Michael Kahn Chair in Editing. Attending the dedication in Los Angeles were Spielberg, Kahn, Dean Elizabeth Daley and honored guests.</p>

<p>Michael Kahn has won an Emmy Award, three Academy Awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Cinema Editors. </p>

<p>The first holder of the chair will be Professor Norman Hollyn who now heads the editing track in SCA.</p>
