So, I have been looking at and considering community college to possibly save money and build up my resume for theatre which is not extensive. If I did do it I plan on majoring in an AA program for theatre. Then transferring to the USC BA program for theatre arts. I am willing to work for that spot but I am wondering do they like to accept theatre transfers for that BA program.
They do admit transfers to the BA program, but you may want to check the reqs carefully to plan for a transfer. For instance, getting an AA may NOT satisfy requirements needed by USC and may instead have you taking courses you cannot transfer or do not need, wasting some time and $. The best plan is to go to the transfer page on USCs admissions website and speak to a counselor at USC.
