I just got my FINAID package, and it said the total is $30000, and I my award total is $26000, so expected family contribution is $4000. I thought USC tuition was over $50000? Or did this not include dorming..?

It should say in your award package whether or not it includes the dorming expenses. Do you remember if on the CSS profile you selected that you plan to dorm?

it says Spring 2013 Housing: USC-Owned Housing, so that means i’m dorming right?

anyway, I think I figured it out, I’m a spring admit, so that’s probably what it’s $20k less.

Tuition alone is over $40000, so something doesn’t seem right there. It sounds like you are not looking at a complete package.

kingcrab4lunch: If you’re a Spring Admit, then the tuition is technically half of the $43,724, which is $21,862.

The “total” $30,000 that you say, then, would be accurate with the $60,000 regular, full-year pricetag.

is it normal for USC to take out the pell grant you have recieved at other schools?
