USC/UCLA Relationships?

This is a random question, but how do you guys feel about USC/UCLA relationships? Like dating, etc...

Any of your friends have them? Is it a travesty? haha

It doesn't matter. I don't care.

I'm in a UCLA/USC relationship. Isn't really an issue in any way..

except that I have to go to USC by bus. yeah, that sucks

whereas i'm assuming your significant other gets to visit you by car? ;)

my neighbor's bf was from usc. perfectly nice guy. i don't hate trojans individually (well, not a lot of them...) just collectively xD

Yeah, hate them collectively, not individually :)

it really doesnt matter in the slightest.

you can "hate" usc during football and basketball games, but besides that there's no rivalry.

Guys, of course there is rivalry. It's just not the mean, nasty rivalry you see at the usc/UCLA football game. I work at the hollywood bowl and the other night I saw Arthur Bartner (the usc marching band director). I'm in the UCLA marching band and I recognized him and I yelled "go bruins!" as he walked past me. He turned and I pointed at him with a grin on my face and so did he. We laughed. Overall, the rivalry is fun, but at the game its like a universe from hell and you hate everything that has to do with usc

i so agree with brassman! being in colorguard i totally relate. i don't hate trojans until we get to the rose bowl and i see people decked out in crimson yelling obscenities and acting like, well, insert favorite expletive here. game times just ramp up animosity. next year's football match at the coliseum is going to be... ugly...

but on an individual level, i know several trojans, and i don't do anything to them except give them a little grief for choosing "u$c" ;)

the sc/la relationship i know works fine. They've been together since h.s and are going pretty strong. I don't see it as a problem.
