Hey CC. I'm from CT and looking at these schools pretty heavily.

SAT: Only took it once, taking again in october and taking ACT in September.
1950 (680M, 610R, 660W)
Hopefully 2050+ next time

All honors and AP's took AP Chem my junior got an A- in it, 750 on subject test and 5 on the exam.

Next year taking AP Calc BC, AP Latin, and AP Euro.
Weighted GPA is a 3.83, not sure on unweighted GPA (keep in mind classes like cooking and business of sports dropped my GPA, kind of fooled around in them and got B+'s :)

Member of ultimate frisbee club, squash club (possible captain next year) YACS, latin club and have 50+ hours of community service.

Gold medal in third year National Latin Exam.

Good course rigor, all honors and AP's all throughout High School.

National honor society and national science + math honors society

Also what would be some good reaches for me if the schools above are not?

How would my chances look if I got my SAT to 2050+?

I know this is the third time I've made this thread but my others have received no new replies even after countless bumps.

Right now
USC: reach
UCSB: match
UIUC: low reach
NYU: reach
UCB: reach
UW - Madison: low match
UMiami: reach
UMich: low reach
UNC: reach
with 2050+ SAT chances go a little higher.
Chance me back please!

I go to a highly competitive school where my 3.8 looks like a 4.0. My scores fall in most of these schools ranges and my essay is EXTREMELY strong and my recs are good.

You need to calculate the uwGPA if your school do not calculate for you. You may simply put 4 for all As, 3 for all Bs, etc and average them. There is no standard for weighed GPA that we don’t even know your GPA of 3.83 is out of what maximum value.
Your current SAT is below the 25% for UMich by 80 points. So it will be a reach for you.

How is every single school there a reach, despite me coming out of Fairfield county (notorious for tough school districts) and a 3.85ish W gpa and a 3.55 UW GPA??

Your SAT score match up with your GPA, and your GPA is very weak for most of these schools. You may have slightly better chance for UCSB, UWI, and UMiami.

UW Wisconsin only looks at unweighted GPA. Most kids who get accepted there are around a 3.7 GPA or higher unweighted. Your SAT scores are not high enough currently to make up for that. Possibly if your ACT or SAT score rises when you take it again. It is harder to get in as an OOS student than instate…

You are looking at the wrong data. 3.63 is for students that are interested or are looking at this school. Look under the header “Qualifications of enrolled freshmen”. Average UW GPA is 3.83.

I just have trouble believing it would be a reach for me when on naviance the data from my school shows the average accepted weighted GPA (again, from my shcool) is a 3.91 and the average SAT (single sitting) is a 1948
