USC v. UC DAVIS

Hello! I am having the hardest time deciding between USC and UC DAVIS. I am interested in the sciences-- psychology, nutrition, and medicine. My concerns with UC Davis is that there is not much to do on and off campus, the town is too small, and there is not a lot of partying. I know this is generalizing but I got that vibe when I visited. I do not want to party every night, but once a week is good. My concerns with USC is that there is too much partying (ironic right?), it is not strong in the sciences, and I would be paying a lot of money for just the name and reputation that comes with it. Both schools have spirit, which I like, but I have heard that USC food and dorms are not very good which I heard the opposite at Davis. I can see myself at both schools, but I did like USC's vibe better. I just am not sure which school is best for me, both socially and academically. Academics are very important to me. Davis public and USC is private so I feel there will be more homogeneity of a classic California person at USC. Does anybody have advice for me?

I am going to UCD. I am not worried about the party life…lol .If you want to do sciences I would go to DAVIS. Parties join a sorority/frat ;)
