got the trustee at USC, and i love California... I live in DC so it would be a big change. but i also love penn. i'm interested in english, film, and journalism
what do you think?
anyone else making the same decision?

penns an ivy so its like higher up but SC is the ****t...i got offered a softnall scholarship to UPenn but i dont wanna play in college so i didnt take it

USC has the #1 film school, depends how important film is in your considerations

If your main interest is in film, then USC has the stronger program by far. USC has quite arguably the best film school in the world, even better than anything any ivy can offer you.

Plus for financials, you can't really beat free at USC vs $100k+ at Penn, minus any fin aid you might get.

USC is fairly strong in comm and journalism, too, so if you decide to go that route, that's a good choice too,

Penn is actually excellent with financial aid.

I'm in the same debate... but for premed/biology. They both have great programs and research opportunities, but at USC I'd be in the honors program (FSH). I'm still waiting to hear from USC about how my scholarship interview went... which would determine whether or not I'm even going to consider USC. Why couldn't they email decisions?!
