USC's Annenberg

<p>I'm a so-so student, but I work hard.
As of 1st semester senior year:</p>

<p>-uw gpa 3.5 w gpa 3.83
-International Baccalaureate Student/ AP/ Tech Program---Three most rigorous programs at my school.
-Several B's and a C on first semester, senior year. They were B+s' and my teachers don't bump, if that makes a difference.
-Taken Spanish for 6 years and math for all 4 years of high school.
-24 on ACT, didn't submit. 12 on writing portion.
-1740 on SAT, superscore. 12 on writing portion.
-AP Scholar with distinction, taken 6 AP tests and 8 AP classes.
-In several clubs as communication advisor, vice president of photography club.
-Internship at a well known SoCal newspaper for the Arts & Ent. Department.
-Fashion blogging and modeling on the side.
-Volunteer at day care and at hospice facilities 100+ hours.
-Website translator job.
-In orchestra, first chair violinist for 5 years.
-From SoCal, relatively low income family of 5.
-2 Recommendations, one from internship host and one from coumselor.
-Applying for public relations or journalism at USC.
-I wrote my essay about a car crash of my friend that affected me.</p>

<p>How do I stack up for an undergraduate student at Annenberg? I really hope that the grueling wait doesn't end with a rejection letter...</p>
