<p>Dr. Hanna Damasio, one of the leading neuroscientists in the U.S., has been honored in Spain. At SC Dr. Hanna Damasio holds the Dana Dornsife Chair in Neuroscience. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the American Neurological Association, among others.</p>
<p>The Open University of Patelonia in Barcelona has bestowed their highest honorary award to Dr. Damasio, doctora honoris causa.</p>
<p>Dr. Damasio has authored texts which are used in universities around the world. She has written highly cited articles and is a Presidential Professor at USC.</p>
