USC's Interactive media and Writing

hello everyone
im planing to major at USC's interactive media but i really like writing or script writing

is there anyway i can do them both ??
thanks

Sorry I can’t answer your question, but I would recommend reposting this on the USC thread. You would probably get a faster and better response that way.

The well-informed and helpful madbean will respond when she sees your post. She’s on both forums. She has two sons in interactive media at USC. I believe one graduated recently. Superb program. (You might also PM her)

thanks alot

Hi aminoo44. If you want to major in Interactive Media and Games (new name!) at the School of Cinematic Arts at USC, you can always get a minor in Writing for Film & Television. I don’t think it’s as easy to do the reverse since the major in Screenwriting is a 4-year intensive BFA with more required units, so you’d have to look into that further.

I can add that across all the majors at the film school, they focus on story. You’ll really love it. Good luck.
