Has any one received their financial aid with an EFC of 0? Was your package aid good, without any scholarships since I doubt I will not receive any from USD.
We didn’t have an efc of 0 but I can tell you what usd wants us to pay is 2x our efc and that is AFTER subtracting scholarship and FA
My son was accepted a couple of weeks ago but no snail mail. Has anyone gotten a packet lately? Kinda bummed if they aren’t sending it out at all.
I was accepted on 3/26 ago but I still haven’t received my financial package. Anyone in the same boat/when could I expect this?
Same I’m still waiting for USD financial package to be able to compare my options but their taking a long time…
My D was accepted a while ago (on the first day) and we never received her snail mail package. Her admission counselor sent her a PDF of it after we had waited a while (and he also confirmed her merit level by email). She really loved USD (and we know a ton of kids from CO who go there and love it too), but she ended up deciding to stay in-state because she got a full ride scholarship that can be used at any school in Colorado and it was too good of a deal to pass up
I received my financial aid today (after being accepted on March 30th) on the portal. No scholarships, making it $72,000 to go there per year.

Did you get that info from USD? Our EFC will change significantly after 2 years when my oldest graduates from college, we’re having a hard time getting an answer on how that will affect D’s grant.
Does USD send a housing questionnaire to you as soon as you SIR or do they send them out all at once after everybody registers? In other words are the dorms first come first served?
We are still waiting for an acceptance package in the mail as we would like to know the merit scholarship information. Anyone else still waiting?
@0246813579 I never received anything in the mail. My FA was posted on the portal, and after emailing with one-stop, from what I understand is if you have been offered a merit award it should be reflected in your package description and total COA. I would email your admission counselor!
@sparklymk Thank you for your reply. I emailed my admission counselor 4 days ago. I have not received a reply other than it will take 48 hours for a response. I have received merit scholarships from LMU and Gonzaga so I am hoping for a merit scholarship from USD. I would appreciate their response soon. May 1st feels close.
Does anyone mind sharing their financial aid packages/offers? I was accepted a while ago and haven’t received anything yet. I have a very low EFC so I’m just a little concerned since I haven’t heard back yet
