I think this is in the right category, but feel free to correct me! I’m trying to narrow down my college search, and I’ve loved the Jesuit schools and Catholic ones so far! I’m hoping to go pre-med and deciding to apply between University of San Diego, Santa Clara, and University of San Francisco. I was wondering if anyone might be able to tell me more about merit aid experiences/possibilities at these colleges? If it helps, I’m confident in my EC’s, SAT score is 1480, and GPA is around a 3.7 unweighted if that helps. Thanks so much for all of your help in advance
You would get more helpful responses if you posted in the specific school forums. Have you run the Net Price calculator for each school to give you a financial aid estimate?

Yes, I have. Unfortunately, I don’t qualify for too much, so I’m trying to look for school where I might be lucky enough to qualify for a merit scholarship. I’ll definitely post of the specific school forums though. Thank you so much for such a quick and helpful reply! Much appreciated!
assuming your weighted GPA is a little above 4, all 3 will probably offer merit money but, that’s real hard to assess until after you see the award. I would encourage you to apply to all 3 - perhaps LMU too. Assuming you are in CA, I would also look at UCSC and since you seem to be attracted to smaller schools, the honors programs at Chico and Sonoma as more cost effective options. See where you get in and what the total cost is, then make the call. Just steer clear of debt at this stage. Med school is going to cost you plenty.
