Is it recommended to use AP credits? I will be a freshman in Johns Hopkins in the upcoming year of 2006. I scored 5 on bio and chem and I'm taking physics C right now. I don't know if I should use the credit and take more advanced courses on bio, chem, and physics. Some people tell me to not use the credit and get some "gpa cushion". But people at JHU told me that classes are not so easy and there are no easy A. But if I take the credit and take more advanced courses, I'm scared I won't be able to understand and because I took bio and chem over 2 years ago, I won't be able to remember anything, which means my GPA might suffer... So I need some advice here to either use the AP credit or just be a regular dude. -_-

for your science courses, you want to be sure you have the best foundation and GPA you can have, therefore it has been often suggested not to take the AP credit, and retake the courses (Chem, Physics, Bio) in college.

yea, its all about gpa, take the intro classes again and breeze through them.
