USF vs UF vs FSU vs UCF Undergrad Psychology

I’m a high school student and I plan on majoring at psychology started next fall. I have (I think) a 4.3 wgpa and I got a 1380 on my SAT so I’m confident I can get into any of these schools. I’m undecided though because I need to know which one has:
1 The best internships/networking opportunities for my major
2 The best program that prepares me for grad school.

The only reason USF is on this list is because I’d live at home if I went there which would save money. Also, FSU is not preferable because its a little too far from my home to visit more than once or twice a year.

US News ranks the graduate programs in psychology and of the schools you named, the order is UF (39 in the nation), FSU(60), USF (81) and UCF (112). Not sure who would rank undergrad programs.

Niche flips the top 2, so that site has FSU, UF, USF and UCF.

Good luck.

Your best bets would probally be UF and USF. Both have really strong programs and are very great research schools. UCF has a decent program but there aren’t as many research opportunities (they do have a great grad program for counseling though and there are plentiful opportunities for internships in Orlando). I don’t know much at all about FSU other than hearing that they have a very good program. In terms of grad school, go where you want to go. Keep in mind that most of the students at UF and USF are pre-med so it will be VERY competitive, especially UF. Grad programs don’t really care about where you went or even your major but what you did when you were an undergrad, your GPA, and your MCAT score.
