Using Commmon App EC Essay?

<p>as a part of the application you have to respond to this :
"We know you lead a busy life, full of activities, many of which are required of you. Tell us about something you do for the pleasure of it. (*)(100 words or fewer) "</p>

<p>Do you think I could use my Common App Extracurricular Activity Essay? The prompt in there says ""Please briefly elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities or work experiences in the space below (1,000 character maximum)."</p>

<p>Do you think it's okey to use the same thing or do you think that they will notice?</p>

<p>There’s some overlap, but these are different questions. There’s a reason MIT uses its own application. If you’re serious about applying to MIT, you’ll answer the question on MIT’s application.</p>

<p>I don’t think that they’ll notice, but you might just want to tweak it a bit so it answers the MIT prompt more fully</p>
