Can I do this? I want to apply to some schools I know I can get into with my June scores, but if I do better on the October test, can I use those scores for scholarships and whatnot, or are the scores you submit final?

Probably depends on the school and the scholarship. You would neeed to ask the school.

My daughter did do exactly that. She was already accepted by her school with a smaller scholarship then retook the ACT and was offered a much higher scholarship. But I am sure that will not always be the case. So ask the school(s).

Don’t know every school’s rules, but many schools will use later scores for scholarship consideration…however, some schools have a fall deadline and won’t accept winter/spring senior year scores.
