What are the scores that a female needs to accomplish on the CFA to qualify physically for the U.S. Naval Academy? I understand that these are the maximum performance scores: BB Throw (66), Pull Ups (7), Shuttle Run (8.6), Crunches (95), Push-Ups (50), Mile (6:00). Please understand that this question is NOT asking "What is the least I can do to get in?"... This question is asking what scores are within the range of being physically qualified for USNA. Thank you very much for all your thoughts/ suggestions -- it is much appreciated!

I’m more conversant in USMA than USNA, but since the scores you’re listing are nearly identical for the maxes, think this might help you:

None of the academies as a general rule publish minimums, but this document shows the average scores. If you shoot to at least be at the average in each area and hopefully at the max in at least a couple, then you should be all right. But of course every point counts so I’d shoot for training to do the best you can.

If you haven’t already found it, [United States of America Service Academy Forums - Powered by vBulletin](http://www.serviceacademyforums.com) is much more active than this forum in terms of Academy questions. Good luck!

Ditto. marciemi has this right. You’ll not find minimums. If you can run and do pull-ups, you’re golden.

NASS starts in a month!

I did my CFA at NASS last summer, and I was recently offered an appointment.

I do not have very good upper body strength, so I had a lot of practice to do, but I am a cross country runner, so I didn’t have to worry about the mile. I did a workout everyday that consisted of three sets of as many:
-Push ups you can do in two minutes
-Pull ups you can do in two minutes
-Sit ups you can do in two minutes
-Shuttle run
-BB throw
Just do this with a two minute rest in between each event, and you should improve pretty drastically. After doing this, I was able to max the push ups, sit ups, pull ups, and running. The BB throw and shuttle run are hard to practice for, but just keep trying. Don’t just go for the minimum, but do your best, and you’ll do great.

Good luck!

I took my first CFA today. I plan on retaking the test, but would like to know if my scores are passing now. I am a male.

I can’t give you any information if your CFA scores are “good” enough, but I can add mine for comparison.

And could anyone tell me if mine are proficient enough to not hinder acceptance, if not, aid in acceptance.
I am male. 68 in. 158 lbs.
