USNA: Odds of getting in?

So I’m a senior this year at a very small high school, and recently I have started the whole nomination process for the USNA and I wanted to know if I have a shot of getting in.

Grades:

I’ve only taken Advanced and AP classes and I rarely ever get a B. My unweighted GPA is ~3.8
I have a 29 on the ACT as well
I’m ranked in the top 20-15% of my class ( We only have 90 kids )

Athletics:

I wrestle and have for ~10 years, 4 years HS Varsity, 2 years Team Captain. I placed at League and Sectionals and almost Districts
I throw in track ( Discus ) I placed in League, Sectionals, and again almost Districts. This year I should make it to state. Varsity 4 Years, Team Captain 3
I did cross country I was varsity I wasn’t very good I ran around a 21 min 5k
I did football 2 years JV and one year Varsity

Extra Curricular activieties:

2 year president of our Key Club ( Community Service) 4 years total.
I have over 400 hours of community service
I have been the chair head of the clarinet section for two years and have been In HS band for 5 years. We made it to state
Finalist at Buckeye Boys State for State Auditor
Home Coming Committee
Camp Volunteer at Kamp Dovetail ( Camp for mentally and Physically handicapped kids)
Volunteer at our animal shelter, and many many other places within my community
Church camp volunteer
A bunch of other little stuff

Oh and I guess I should say my eye sight is god awful so I’m not sure if that makes a difference. I know my astigmatism is around a 3 in each eye and my over all eye sight is around a -6 in each eye

Have you started the Navy application? Those applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

There is a forum called: service academy forum that has lots of threads about the various service academies and all about the application process. Those folks will discourage you from asking the sort of question you pose above, partially because it is nearly impossible to answer! Service academies are so different from other colleges and universities.
