Hi Guys,
I'm a junior and I'm really interested in going to USNA. I applied for the summer seminar just to I make sure I like it before I decide. Anyway, I recently got an invitation to candidate weekend and I was wondering, do my chances look good for the summer seminar thing since they invited me to the cvw? Or is that just a standard thing?Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

A lot of people were invited to a CVW recently…CVW’s offer the candidate to experience life at the Academy for what it’s really like. NASS is very competitive and is more of a recruiting program, so plenty of well-qualified applicants don’t get in. CVW’s indicate more of an interest in actual admission than admission to NASS, but even so, it’s impossible to guess what they mean by it.

Thanks for your input!
