So rankings come out next Tuesday, August 17. To get ready, post your predictions for the top 25 national universities. Remember that (1) 2011 rankings will be based on 2009 data and (2) the methodology might've been changed to include HS counselors' ratings of schools in the "assessment" score.

just wait.

For reference, here are the schools in the top 25 in alphabetical order: [Best Colleges Preview: Top 25 National Universities - US News and World Report](http://www.usnews.com/articles/education/best-colleges/2010/08/09/best-colleges-preview-top-25-national-universities.html).

You heard it here first.

blade, you put Northwestern over Uchicago, wustl, and johns hopkins?

lol

Northwestern moves up 1 spot because it’s more popular among counselors, UChicago and WashU less so. I didn’t know what to do with JHU so I put it approximately where it was last year. I also moved up Columbia and Brown. These aren’t radical changes so I don’t know what you’re talking about.

I don’t think it will happen this year. But it happend not once but four times before when Northwestern was ranked 9th or 10th. Historically, it’s ranked above wustl and jhu more often than not.

I think all 27 schools should be ranked #1, end of arguements…lol

so the other USNWR thread is likely fake. keep posting your predictions and let’s see how many targets you hit.
