UT at Austin Admissions

Hi everyone, looking for someone who attends UT at Austin or graduated from there recently. I want to know how difficult it is to get in from out of state (I live in NJ) and if about a 3.4 and 790 Bio SAT2 760 Chem SAT2 and 2240 SAT scores could get me in. I have solid extracurriculars, i.e. lacrosse and soccer, and and teach at a computer camp over the summer, which I would imagine college admissions people would like. So please if anyone knows about UT admissions, leave a comment, thanks.

I don’t have a very good feel for OOS admissions, but here are my thoughts:

SAT scores all look very good. They put you above the average SAT score for oos students and every college within the University.

The 3.4 seems a little low to me, but class rank is what really matters. Even as oos, you want to be top 8%. If you went to a “non-ranking” HS, you need to convince the admissions department that you are at the top of you’re class. Although, based on your SAT scores I imagine you go to a really competative HS which admissions will usually try to take into account.
