Hey do you guys know of anyone who has heard back from Deans or Health Science Scholars?
I applied around early October because I had to apply to tamu by Oct 15th anyways, good to hear other people with similar stats got into a similar make thank you.
If you’re unsure if you want to go to UT yet, can you still apply for housing as a freshman? Or do you have to accept the admission first?
Any Plan II or LAH acceptances go out recently?

Check out Duren. It is coed and pretty new. A little bit of a walk to your Engineering classes but not bad. I’m at Cockrell and roomed there freshman year.
I heard there’s a rumor for a wave today?? Can anyone confirm?
I doubt it, aren’t schools closed today for MLK day?
I heard of a wave today too. I know it probably isn’t true because of MLK. You never know with UT.
For anyone who has gotten in, were you notified by email or did you just check your portal?
@Kd6410 My D received both, the portal was updated first then the email came a little later. Also received two congrats letters in the mail and a big packet, about 3-5 days later.
For those who heard rumors about there being a wave today, where did you hear it from?

The school is closed for MLK day… don’t see how there could be a wave today unless it’s scheduled? Hard to tell with UT.

I just called admissions and they said its closed for the day. Could they still release decisions today or should we rely on friday the 19th?
@Kd6410 my son checked his portal right around 4:00pm the day he was accepted and received an email about 7:00pm that night telling him to check his portal. His acceptance letter came in the mail about a week later I think.
Decisions could still be released today, Purdue is closed but their admissions department tweeted and responded to calls/emails last week that decisions would be released at 5pm today (for EA kids).
My daughter’s portal was updated several hours before she got the email. The acceptance packet came weeks later.
