@outthedoor The application itself and the application materials (test scores, transcripts, etc.) had to be received by November 1st in order to be qualified as a priority applicant.
Will 40 Acres semi-finalists be released in this wave on Friday?
@confused6789 the application deadline isn’t until Feb. 15
@antwaine the 40 acres deadline was December 1
just heard from a boy at my school that UT has decided to push back admissions decisions to Feb 1, even for priority applicants. Can anyone speak to the truth of this?
@CollegeGirl3389 I sure hope that’s not true for Priority applicants!!!
They have said along that Priority Applicants would hear on or before Feb 1 so I guess they can wait til then if they want. I must say I am tired of waiting though!
I was looking at my son’s status page. It still says in review but I the housing he can now see dining dollars balance etc. Does everyone see that on their housing tab? I don’t remember seeing it before.
@and2018 I don’t see that info in my son’s housing tab, so could be good news for you!! But let others who may have as well chime in.
Good luck!
@Meant2B I hope so. I am over the waiting. We turned everything in on Aug 1st so the waiting is killing us.
@and2018 I can see dine in dollars too but I think it only means you have submitted a deposit for housing
When I click on the housing tab and then click on “You may access your housing status online,” I see the dining dollars balance and bevo bucks. Is this what you are talking about?
Yes, we have the page with dining dollars also. However, on the main page we had the name of an admissions advisor and now the name is gone and it just shows generic info. I don’t know what that means… I guess at this point we just have to wait and see:)
I have that same page of the housing application where it shows the bevo bucks etc. My friend also has that same page but the problem is he hasn’t applied for housing. I really don’t think this is a way to find out if you’re admitted.
Yes that is the page I was talking about. I hadn’t seen it before until today. I was hoping it meant something good. Hopefully we will hear something soon. He is applying to McCombs so we are nervous.
We still have our admissions advisor on our main page @tx9119
I don’t think my son has ever had an admissions counselor listed on his home page. That’s not a good sign, lol.
Which main page does the advisor come out in?
I see the advisor name on myUT direct-Be a Longhorn @Lupescupe
Where on the page does it say the advisor name?
