I am current having trouble decided between UT Austin, Cornell, and Carnegie Mellon. I got accepted to UT Austin's Engineering program with a $10,000 scholarship per year. And as a Texas resident, UT Austin would be the cheapest to attend out of all three universities. I chose petroleum engineering but I'm not sure if I should stick to that major at the moment.

For CMU, I got into the Institute of Technology and Information Systems, and I'm interested in study Information Systems if I go there. As of right now, I have to idea if I will receive any financial aid/money from CMU.

As for Cornell, my family does not quality for any financial aid, and this is making me really nervous about attending the university. I'm not sure if it'll be worth it in the end. By the way, I got accepted into the College of Engineering. I have visited the campus though, and I love it. I've also heard that the students there are amazing. The weather is quite cold though.
Any advice/suggestions?
