I got accepted at those 3 schools and I intend to transfer from Mizzou, majoring in Business.
I am kinda confused cause:

USC- ranked #23. business school ranked #11. big metropolitan city. tuition: 44k
UT Austin- ranked #46. business school ranked #7. city. tuition: 35k
UNC Chapel Hill- ranked #29. business school ranked #7. college town. tuition: 31k

Cause currently I am living in a college town, I am considering either USC or UT Austin. I am quite hesitant bout Austin because although Mccombs has a great business school, it is the lowest in the national ranking among these 3.

Which of the ranking u guys think matters most? The school overall ranking or the business school ranking?

Feel free to share u guys' thoughts and inputs!! :))

Rankings are awash. Potential employers are never going to look at any of the three schools and consider ranking. Go to the school that is offering you the most money and where you feel most comfortable.

Also, remember this: rankings change yearly. What if you select one school over the others based on ranking, and then the rankings rearrange? It’s more about name-recognition in this scenario and they all have that.

Is go UNC or Austin. UNC because its cheaper and highly ranked and in a pretty nice area and Austin because of the ranking and the fact that it is in a nice college town. USC is expensive but if you wanna be in California I guess it’s a good choice. Also, I’m pretty sure the business school ranking would matter most if you’re majoring in business haha
