Many posters on the transfer threads are adults, heck some of my son’s transfer interest group friends during his first semester at UT were married with kids! But many transfer applicants went to community college for all or part of their high school and are under 18. So, yeah, more parental involvement. And many of us just want to help out other students too.
Hey y’all I got accepted! College of Liberal arts with a 3.86 GPA with 29 credit hours at ACC.
Audit did show my transcripts. Good luck everyone! Hook em
Congratulations to everyone accepted! I hope education hears back this week!!
I hope everyone hears Back by the end of this week
Well, its 12:10 am, my application for admission is in review, and OU still sucks.
I would just like to thank everyone for sharing their stats and info! It doesn’t matter which walks of life people are from. Any and all information is much appreciated. It means a lot and it’s supper helpful for others! Please, if you get denied, share…if you get accepted, share! Both matter! This is what this forum is for!!(:
I don’t think they are going by major because I applied for English and haven’t heard yet
Lets just be thankful they are beginning to notify us now instead of mid-late december… Safe to say we’d all be salty
Its seems they let international students know 1st, then those with the fewest uni hours? Idk, I have a significant amount of hours. I hope I get an answer before UT v OU at the weekend. Would absolutely love a festive weekend.
cola always comes out first and the other schools take forever
A few of us have not heard back yet that are in cola. Including myself
@eastcoastlivin Same.
ditto.
It looks like a lot of people are on here for COLA. No news for CNS applicants yet? Congrats to everyone who’s gotten admitted so far! I’m so excited for everyone.
One international applicant got admitted yesterday in cns (mathematics)
hey guys! if you applied education, do you mind sending what major you applied for & your stats?
I’ve posted my stats a few pages ago but they are:
Education: Exercise science
3.74 GPA
46 hours. After this semester ends I’ll have 59 hours
1 LOR
Strong resume/ EC, and strong essays
I applied Education, major is pre-Athletic Training/pre-PT
GPA-3.3 (I know it’s a long shot thought I’d try anyways) my first year of college I went to school in Michigan as a student athlete. Transition was hard living in Texas my whole life and living by myself for the first time in unfamiliar state. I know there is no excuse though ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Essays: strong
Credits: 32
Extra Curriculars: first year of college, student athlete, held leadership in HPRC, was apart of 2 clubs, this semester I joined a sorority
Volunteer Hours: 120+ (In my field and with a philanthropy)
1 LOR: incredible (UT alum)
Audit: complete access, I can view everything
At the end of this semester I’ll have 44 credits. Didn’t push myself so hard this semester to focus on increasing my GPA
I’m applying education!
GPA: 3.66 (@HornHopeful19 I went through something extremely similar at the University of Kansas so I relate a lot!)
Major: Physical Sports and Culture
Extracurriculars: Student Athlete and a full time job
Volunteer hours: 100+, heavily in the education area
2 LOR: 1 UT Alum who also coached here
Audit: complete with transcripts, it says that I have over 60 hours but only 42 would apply to my degree plan
Good luck to everyone and a huge congrats to everyone who got accepted!
