I know that GPA is the primary factor in transfer admissions to UT, but do they look at a gpa from a community college the same as one from a well-regarded university? I’m trying to transfer from Umich. Would a 3.7 at Umich be considered substantially worse than a 4.0 at a Texas community college?
Hello,
I was wondering how well I would do in applying to UT as a transfer in the fall of 2018, considering I don’t have a calculus credit but am taking statistics instead. I decided I was going to try and transfer into COLA for psychology because it is still related to the major I want to study, but should I still apply to CNS as well? I also know that the Liberal Arts page stated I should choose psychology as my first choice major. UT is my dream school and I want to make sure I am doing the best that I can to get in. In addition, how important are letters of recommendations because I’m not that close to my professors but will ask if I need to.
