UT austin vs Wash U in St Louis

<p>What would you recommend as a better school? My daughter has gotten int o both.</p>

<p>WUSTL is definitely a more prestegious school. If you're instate, goto UT because it'll cost you virtually nothing, whereas WUSTL is an expensive private school. If money is not an issue goto WUSTL for the prestige factor and all around more intellectual environment.</p>

<p>Washington University in St. Louis is definitely the better school.</p>

<p>But UT Austin is still good, and if money is tight...</p>

<p>If you do not receive likely letters does that mean your chances are slim</p>

<p>I'd go to UT. UT is cheap, but you're getting a run for your money.</p>
