Hello!
I am senior in high school and I have just received my acceptance to UT as an undergraduate business major. I have also applied early action to BHP and Plan II and I'm wondering what everybody's thoughts are for this combination if I were to get accepted into both programs and pursue a double major. Will it be extremely rigorous and necessitate 5 years? Do the two, in any way, conflict with one another? My sister currently attends UT and claims that the BHP/Plan II people "are the most arrogant with no 'real' interests." Is this accurate, or is it just coming from an anti-business, anti-Plan II liberal arts honors kid?

Also, I was wondering if you guys would help realistically evaluate my chances for admittance into those two programs. Here are my stats:
Rank: 14 of 646
SAT: 2320 (1520 w/o writing)
National Merit Semifinalist
AP Exams: CSA(4), USHist(5), EngLang(5), FrenchLang(4), and taking 7 others this year
Major Extracurriculars:
4 years of both varsity string and varsity symphony orchestra, where I have been actively involved (involving the officer position as treasurer) and done well in various violin contests and earned awards, 2 years of school tennis, 2 years of Model UN, NHS, officer positions in two other school clubs, I teach violin lessons to junior high kids, and I have interned for the past 2 years at a non-profit small business counseling organization which involved writing for the Houston Chronicle

I know I put a lot down, but that's the general idea of the stuff I put on my apps. Oh, and another question: what criteria do the BHP admissions people use to grant certain people interviews and not others?
Thanks a MILLION for any input. I really appreciate everybody's time. :)
