UT BHP vs Rice MTEC vs Cornell AEM

University of Texas - McComb's Business Honors Program (BBA)
Rice University - Mathematical Economic Analysis (BA)
Cornell University - Applied Economics & Management (BS)

Considering the following criteria:
- Alumni network and school connections
- Prestige and respect in the field
- Initial job placement (particularly investment banking)
- Opening more doors for higher level graduate education

Which of the three schools above trumps the other two in terms of a business-centric education?

(Note: Another factor to possibly consider is tuition fees. Being a Texas resident, UT = about $20K/yr, Rice & Cornell = about $45K/yr.)

UT BHP over Rice definitely. They both place well into Houston banking with a distinct edge to BHP at less than half the cost. As for Cornell, you need to decide which market you’d rather end up in. If you want to end up in the Houston energy sector, go to UT. If you’re dead set on NYC, generally Cornell will have somewhat of an edge. IB compensation is generally pretty close amongst the major markets ( NYC, Chicago, houston, LA, SF).
Personally, UT BHP seems like the best choice in this position.

@andy09 - I appreciate the input. I think so too; in terms of cost efficiency, BHP seems to win out.
