<p>i was wondering what is the average gpa needed to get into Cockrell School of Engineering. i will be a CAP student next year at UTSA and would really like to know what i would need and what classes should i take at UTSA that will help me get into CompE at UT . if gone from CAP to Engineering please elaborate the process and the classes you took . </p>

<p>Not sure exactly what the GPA requirement would be - I’m sure it varies based on the pool of applicants, but my son got one B at UTSA and was accepted into ME at UT.</p>
