UT Class of 2017

congrats hijackerjack! did you get any email after receiving the decision?

@hijackerjack

I applied for physics as a second major if I do not get admitted to aerospace engineering and I still have not received any decision. Are you international or domestic applicant?

so…do only rejections come today? since it is the last day?

hope so :expressionless: where are you applying to, eagerlywaiting?

advertising, college of communications! you?

Only rejections come out today? I still haven’t gotten my decision yet either… :/

business at mccombs. i know it’s a high reach but i’m still hoping! and btw, a slight bad news. i just saw this on UT austin website’s international section:

“Most applicants for first-time undergraduate admission to the summer/fall semester are notified by the middle of April; most transfer applicants will find out about their decisions in June.”
[After You Apply | Be a Longhorn](http://bealonghorn.utexas.edu/international/after-applying)

that would really… really suck.

Omg @bowtiesarecool
I SWEAR THEY CHANGED IT, i checked their website.
Thats so unfair, before it said before march 1st, and now , it says middle of april. THIS IS SO UNFAIR.

Just asked office of admissions if they will meet there target date of March 1st. I really hope they say yes…

yes i hope so! for both local & international.

it would be a disappointment in their part if they didnt

Do any international students receive admission decision from UT Austin ?

They sure do at some point hahaha.

Has anyone heard anything about scholarships/FA? My MyStatus page has said check back in 2 weeks for the longest time!

I have heard from Financial Aid about 2 weeks ago and submitted my FAFSA using 2011 info as an estimate on the first of January. They just want me to update it to 2012 now…

ATexas, if you are not in the top 10% and possibly not the top 25% and also did not have an SAT of 1300 / ACT 30, Blinn is pretty much it. I certainly would not treat it as a rejection. You are guranteed acceptance, possibly as soon as in a semester. You live on the A&M campus and keep your friends when you matriculate to A&M. Most kids at my son’s school (competitive public) wear the Blinn Sweater/ T shirts with pride. CAP is slightly different in that you have to relocate to another town. However, I also would not exactly consider it a rejection. (Ask those who get rejections).

were you an auto-admit?

Hey guys, any internationals waiting for decision?

yepp Still waiting :(
