One small doubt - does anybody know if TOEFL scores are required for a US Citizen applying from India? Entire schooling was in English. In fact, it’s my first language with native proficiency. Do they still require? I’ve emailed them but they have just given a generic response which has no conclusion.
I think as long as you apply in the Fall you are good. Our high school would not submit transcripts and LORs until September of senior year. UTD is rolling addmision so you should get your acceptance quickly. Applying early is always good. You have until May 1st to accept so you can compare offers at other schools. I don’t know for a fact that they won’t require TOEFL but if your native language is English and you have a perfect score on the SAT I can’t see why they would need a TOEFL score.
Just a small doubt regarding all colleges in US, will a US Citizen applying from a foreign country should apply as a freshman or international freshman?
I would think if you are a US citizen but living internationally, you would apply as an OOS freshman. You could call or email the International Student Center to confirm at 972-883-4189.
