I would talk to admissions about having an associates degree, it might be enough for automatic admission if you are a Texas resident. Your test score may not matter.
One student from my graduating class applied to UT Dallas, who I’m sure was ranked higher than I was and had a bit more EC’s and they got rejected from college of education so I’m still a bit on the edge here. I know that UTD really likes to emphasize test scores in their admissions process.
If you look at the assured admission for transfer student you would probably qualify. So you may only need to take a semester at a community college at worst before being an auto admit. Probably save yourself some money too. You will still graduate way ahead of schedule. I would not stress about it. I would just concentrate on the math portion of the sat, since they superscore. You have a lot of time to improve your scores before the final deadline for admission.
With all my credit hours I would’ve completed (68 credit hours) I wouldn’t be applying as a transfer, contrary to what most students believe. I would still apply as a freshman. As far as I know, UTD doesn’t superscore in the application process— just for certain scholarship applications. I will need to improve my math portion though, so I’ll definitely be doing that.
