Hi guys,
I know there are no longer any levels posted on the AES website, but do you think it’s possible for me to get the distinction level scholarship ( full tuition +$1000 stipend per semester)? I’m in the top 2% of my high school, have a 3.9 unweighted GPA, but I really suck at taking standardized tests so I got only a 1390 on my SAT. Should I take the test again later or will all the money go away at that point? I really want to go to UTD and I can’t go without at least full tuition payed for. Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
It’s worth it to take the SAT again, they will super score or try the ACT also know that they are looking strongly at “rigor” so doing well in AP and DE classes will also help.
Do you think that sending test scores at a later time, like in December, reduces my chance of getting the scholarship? I know the applicant pool is more competitive every year so I’m afraid that at that point there will not be enough money to provide no matter how competent the applicant is.
Apply now with your current scores and send new test scores before January 15th for your best chance.
