Hello I am wondering if the UT Martin engineering program is at least decent. I am a resident in Minnesota and I want to go to a university in Tennessee. The main thing is cost and I know that UT Martin offers a premium out of state scholarship. I also am wondering people’s preferences are of the university and what the perception of Martin is in Tennessee.
My GPA is currently 3.39 and I am currently a sophomore in High School.

Check the ABET accreditation of the program you’re interested in attending.
If you want to go to school in Tennessee (why TN as opposed to other states?), have you considered Tennessee Tech? Far better engineering program, and a more residential student body.
Agree with whenhen. My brother graduated from Tn Tech and has had no problem with employment as a mechanical engineer in both the nuclear and aerospace/defense industries.
