<p>Are you serious? If you are in-state in Texas you should be shot. If you plan to major in Accounting, MIS, Marketing, Management, or Finance you should be shot again. </p>
<p>UT McCombs has one of the largest alumni networks in the world. Aside from that, it's consistently ranked among the top undergraduate business schools in the country. Have you calculated your earning potential and run the numbers to see if going to emory would be a solid business decision? Unless you have a large scholarship, I don't know how it could be.</p>
<p>If you intend to get an MBA someday, you could go to a school much worse than UT or Emory and get into any school in the country. MBA Programs care about work experience, essays, letters of recommendation, GMAT, GPA etc. The undergraduate school you attended is just a small component and far less important than post-graduate work experience.</p>
