UT Natural Science (Biology) Transfer applicant

I was re-reading through the requirements, and it said you need calculus credits. But a B.A. in Bio at my current university UT-Arlington doesn't require me to take calculus to get a B.A. in Bio degree. I have taken College algebra and Stats. I was reading through more UT transfer stuff and i found this:

--> College Algebra (MATH 1314) does not count toward degree requirements in the College of Natural Sciences, but grades and credit in the course count toward transfer admission

So what exactly does this mean? Will i even be considered as an applicant since i haven't taken calculus? Or will they accept my college algebra credit, and then expect me to take calculus once at UT?

Thanks for any help!!

UT Arlington and UT Austin are 2 different universities and have different requirements.
BA in Biology at UT Austin requires Calculus (M 408C or M 408N) <a href=“Undergraduate Programs | College of Natural Sciences”>http://cns.utexas.edu/degree-checklists

Transfer page says

http://bealonghorn.utexas.edu/transfer/admission/majors/natural-sciences

It means that if you have already taken Calculus and submit your grade in transcript you will receive priority consideration.
If you are still taking Calculus while submitting application you will not receive priority consideration., UT is not going to even look at your application until final transcript with Calculus grade is available.
If you don’t have any Calculus credit and is currently not taking it your application will be denied.

Mistake

I’ve looked through the forums and have read about people getting accepted without the calculus credit! I would apply anyway with COLA as your backup, as I am doing.
