UT tranfer from TAMU

Hi! I am trying to transfer form TAMU to UT Austin next fall for their natural sciences school. I actually got into UT Austin when applying out of high school but regrettably chose TAMU. Will the fact that I already got accepted into UT Austin help my chances? How hard is is to transfer in from TAMU and what can I do to have the best chance of getting in?

The fact that you were initially accepted to UT does not help with your chances now. UT looks at your college GPA which needs to be very high, as close to 4.0 as possible, and you need to take classes that will apply to your degree. They want you to graduate in 4 years. You also need to make sure you take at least 9 hours of science/math including calculus and again, do well.
