<p>i'm deciding between the university of notre dame and the university of texas at austin. i'd love to go to either one but i'm not sure which one.
ut is closer to home so i can come home whenever i need to but i like the environment of notre dame. what other reasons are there for me to choose one over the other?</p>

<p>its hard to compare them... they're really completely different schools. if money is no object go with whatever you think is going ot prepare you best for what your doing.... if i were you i'd say notre dame is a no-brainer, the people that come out of there are really great, go to an alumni event(there are tons) and you'll understand how notre dame is different from other schools (comming from someone who wishes he had gotten in)</p>
