Help!! I am now choosing between 2 schools for electrical engineering. Price is also a factor in my decision. Which one to choose Utah State University or University of Idaho and why??

You tell us that price is a factor, but don’t mention what you will need to pay at each of these. Kind of hard to advise without that info.

These programs are comparable academically, so I don’t think you will be missing a lot by choosing one over the other. The social environments and locations do differ somewhat; what are your thoughts on this?

well if i didn’t include the price factor which one would u pick? I loved both schools when I visited them. I loved their departments.

Then you have two great choices. There is no reason not to go with the better bargain.

To answer your question: I would probably go with UI. I don’t care for the winter temperature inversions and resultant air advisories in the Cache Valley. But that’s me, not you.

oh ok but how good are both of their Electrical Engineering departments?

Like I said, comparable. Maybe an edge for UI in Spokane and Seattle, USU in Salt Lake City.

If you are interested in research, check out the department webpages and see if either seems stronger in your area(s) of interest.

ok thank you so what did u major in
