<p>Impossible to tell without knowing where you will be going to live, and just a number of other variables...</p>
<p>This is such a ridiculous question - your landlord may pick up things like water and trash, but may not, you might be able to get a good deal on bundling cable and internet together, you might not, you might live in a well-constructed, well insulated apartment but you might not. You might have roommates...</p>
<p>These are questions that you can ask the landlord/realtor about when you actually go looking for an apartment.</p>
<p>Good question. Places in the north with gas heat can run into hundreds a month just for heat. Be sure to ask who pays and what it might cost.</p>
<p>It all depends on where you're living.. different cities & complexes vary on services provided, and how big the space is that you are heating.</p>
<p>For reference. I live in a 1-bedroom apartment in northern california.
My landlord pays for water/trash.
My apartment complex provides cable internet for $20/month
I have basic basic cable tv which is $12/month
My electricty/gas bill runs $50-60/month
I don't have a land-line phone, when I did it was $34/month & I rarely used it, so I just canceled it & use my cell.</p>
<p>normally those college student specific apartments like university house everything is included in one monthly price.</p>
<p>You are not going to be able to get information like that from a website like this. Call the utility company and they can usually give you a list of utility information for that property and tell you how much previous residents have paid.</p>
<p>Kenshi=--at most of the larger schools where many students live off campus but not at home they live in standard apts or rent homes near campus. That often means they pay the utilities.</p>

(gas and electricity included in rent so i do not know how much actually gets paid - i'd guess around $60?)</p>
