They fixed the whole myUVA to do list thing right?
Kind of a horrible thing to say you’ll do a raffle for people for your rolex… I understand the emotion behind it, but there are other ways to express that haha
Im hoping the admissions folks pulled an all nighter and got it all done lol.
@alarak Why? It’s a watch. Hardly the gravest of things to giveaway.
@LookingForUVA Submariner
@LaVolpe DAMN BOII, carrying that submariner around. I’d kill for that watch on my wrist.
@Calibr8 They say 12% but since it’s 1/2 for VCCS that makes it a 6% chance for 4 year transfers and VCCS as well.
That being said, if you get in, even more impressive
Oh and drinks on me if you see me at Coupes or Trinity and say my username haha
Hi guys, my name is Jonathan, and I transferred here last year from JMU. Best decision I’ve ever made, and good luck to all of you! The toughest part of the transition was finding housing with people I’d want to live with. Fortunately, I have a great spot at the Uncommons Apartments, on Main St. in Charlottesville available for leasing for next school year. It is a 4bed, 4bath apartment, with all four spots open. We’ve already paid the $800 student discount, so you’d be receiving it at a discounted premium. Trust me when I say housing at UVA is near-impossible, due to the fact that most students complete housing in OCTOBER. You won’t find a better location, and complex than this one, for the price. It is a penthouse suite, with incredible amenities including gym and pool, both of which are very far at UVA. Right near the corner, and grounds, it’s a perfect place. I’m trying to help you guys out so you have the opportunity to meet some other students who need housing and find 4 people you’d be comfortable living with, as opposed to most of the opportunities which include living with completely random people.
Please e-mail me if you’re interested, because we’ve already had a lot of interest, but would like to offer it to four people who’d like to live together, since we were in the same position as you guys. Thanks, and good luck!

I noticed on all of the blogposts for “decision are posted tonight at 5 pm” they were all posted on a Friday during the 3:00-4:00 hour. (Closer to 3). Aka I still have hope until 3:59 Lol…
Our blog hasn’t been updated in a while :’(
Last year, decisions starting coming in at 4:30 PM.
I’m almost positive we’re hearing today.
Yea also for 2015 they did tell a day ahead that decisions were coming out but for 2013 I found that they never got notification from the blog. Just the day of it said “decisions will be released around 5” or something like that. So yay!
@snp2896 And somebody said Spring admissions didn’t get a notification until after the fact. Considering how inactive the blog is, this wouldn’t shock me.
I think they’re just mad some figured a way to find decisions before they were released :))
Five(ish) more hours, folks!
Checking this blog every 5 min lol
Has anyone tried logging into UVAcollab, clicking on the account tab, and looking at the box with userid, name, email and “type”? I have a UVA email, but nothing is entered in the space after type. I’m assuming this spot is used to specify students, professors or undergrads/grads, etc. I think everyone gets an email by default, but maybe only those accepted have their “type” specified. I confirmed that I did not have an activated email when I went to the UVA email login page and received the message “unable to locate your account”. Assuming that all of our decisions are pretty much complete, I can’t help but wonder if those that will be accepted are able to see a “type” or log into their emails. From past experiences, I’ve noticed that even prior to releasing decisions, some schools listed official emails for accepted students in directories and nothing for those declined, so perhaps this is a similar phenomenon.
@brady1663 so what would be the monthly rate + utilities
Mine doesn’t have a type neither
“i aint got no type”
