UVA Likely Letter

I guess I received a likely letter from UVa yesterday. It says, "The Committee on Admission has reviewed your application and found it impressive..." Please verify.

try the UVA forum.

I got one too today!

While they say it isn’t finalized of course, I think it’s an excellent sign with a most likely acceptance.

I got a UVA likely letter too and from I read on Dean J’s blog, they only send it to the strongest candidates so it’s a very good sign. They say that things like your mid year report could still affect their decision, but if your first semester grades were similar to your usual performance (or better) and no major disciplinary problems have occurred, I would probably say that you could consider it an acceptance. That’s just me though. You should probably read that link posted above or post in the UVA thread for more info though.
