So I’m completely done with the UVa Financial Aid forms except for the additional documents they request. They say that they want the parent’s federal tax return and schedules for 2015. My parents haven’t finished filing their taxes yet, should I send the 2014 tax return?

I think you should be asking the UVA Office of Financial Aid. If your attendance is highly dependent on receiving aid, then you should interact with the school directly to be sure you are getting the right information.
