<p>The financial aid office requested Parent Federal Tax Return and Student Federal Tax Return. With the parent/student federal tax return sheet they are requesting final federal tax return with IRS including schedules, worksheets, and W2s. But the problem is my family is headed by a single parent and neither I or my parent had an income during 2008 so how can I send in Federal tax return? Do I just not send them in? Hopefully someone was or is in the same situation can help! Thanks!<br>

<p>Yes, just call them and explain the situation then it should easily be cleared up.</p>
<p>I think even if you didn’t file tax returns they still want to see some record of your income (W2s, for example). But I agree with Muserz, contact the fin aid office ASAP and talk to them personally.</p>
