UVa or USC Electrical Engineering

Which one is better?

USC because it has better weather and hotter girls

and I go to UVA

hope that answers your question.

Electrical Engineering sucks, definitely the hardest engineering major.

UVA- I don’t know if I should agree with that or not hahah

travis: I’m a EE at UVA, so I’ll try to give some insight. Personally, I love the department because it’s one of the smaller departments, size-wise, but definitely does not feel under-resourced, at all. It seems like it’s built for 200+ people per class, but I think the entire student enrollment in the department is around 200. The advisors are great (for the most part), the teachers are great, and the class offerings are pretty broad and you can tailor your major to your interests (microelectronics, signals, microwaves, etc). My only big complaint is the lab space: they really need more and newer spaces, but they’re building entirely new buildings for CpE labs, which EEs will benefit from, and they’re planning to dedicate the entire C/E wings of the engineering school to EE/CpE. Some of the TAs I’ve had also aren’t great, but it’s easy to get around that and either go to the teacher or other TAs, and I’ve have a few REALLY good TAs that make up for it. I had a class this past semester that if it weren’t for the really nice, REALLY helpful TA, I would’ve failed.
As for USC, I don’t know much about the program. I looked into applying there, but didn’t really like the engineering department as it seemed huge, and the cost was nearly quadrupled for me.

its all about where u live Va OR Ca

Thanks for all the comments. By the way, I am an international student, so I don’t live in CA or VA.
